In October, South Korea’s automobile exports increased by 32.2 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, driven by the increasing demand for new model SUVs. In October 2018, 230.086 vehicles were exported, amounting to approximately $ 3.92 billion. Looking at exports by region, the largest increase in automobile exports was seen in North America with 66.8%.

 

Domestic auto sales increased by 23.6% in the same period to 160,881.
