US automotive manufacturer Ford Motor Company has declared to Theresa May, the British Prime Minister, that preparations were expedited to pull production from the UK. The carmaker stated in a meeting held with the Prime Minister and the business people that the production will be moved to alternative countries abroad.
Ford produce engines in two plants in the UK. If the UK leaves the European Union without any deal, the company will face a cost of up to $ 1 billion.
